Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance showcased the collision prevention braking system of the Luxeed RX coupe SUV. The system triggers an automatic braking response and displays an immediate alert on the dashboard when the vehicle detects narrow obstacles.
The collision prevention feature is enabled by default. While drivers can manually deactivate it, the system automatically resets to the active state every time the vehicle is restarted. When deactivated, the car will not initiate automatic braking in the event of potential collisions with objects in front, behind, or crossing the vehicle's path.
The Luxeed RX is built on the Huawei Tuling platform and features an L3-level autonomous driving architecture. The vehicle is available in both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. It measures 5020 by 2007 by 1585 mm with a 3000 mm wheelbase.
The SUV is equipped with 38 fusion perception sensors, including an 896-line dual-optical image-level lidar and three high-precision solid-state lidars. It also debuts Huawei's new generation of high-performance electric drive systems. The pre-sale price for the model starts at ¥299 800.
