Lunaz has confirmed that all production slots for its Range Rover Classic and Aston Martin commissions in the United States are fully booked. To manage this demand, the company is introducing a second shift at its 65,000-square-foot facility located near the Silverstone circuit in the United Kingdom.
The expansion plan involves creating approximately 40 new jobs over the next two years. These roles will focus on design, coachbuilding, engine development, and electrification. The company aims to leverage the local talent pool in the Northamptonshire region, which is known for its concentration of motorsport and specialist manufacturing expertise.
The current production run for the Range Rover Classic is limited to 25 vehicles, with these units scheduled for 2027. Each project begins with a donor vehicle that is stripped to the metal and rebuilt with either an electric powertrain or a modern LS3 V8 engine, both producing over 350 horsepower.
Beyond the Range Rover, the company is applying similar production strategies to its Aston Martin DB series, which features a 5.0-liter V8 engine. Lunaz reports that demand for its Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Jaguar commissions is also showing growth driven by the American market.
