Logitech has unveiled the G Pro X3 Superstrike, a new flagship gaming mouse featuring the Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS). This technology uses electromagnetic fields to detect switch activation, which the company claims is up to 30 ms faster than standard wireless mice operating at an 8 kHz polling rate.
The mouse includes five programmable buttons with 10 levels of actuation point adjustment, five rapid-trigger levels, and six haptic feedback intensity settings. Users can configure these parameters through the Logitech G HUB software, which allows for dynamic key activation based on movement rather than fixed points.
The device is powered by a custom NxLOGI chipset and a Hero 2 sensor, supporting a resolution of 48 000 DPI, a maximum speed of 930 IPS, and 90G acceleration. These components contribute to an extended battery life of 135 hours, compared to 90 hours in the previous G Pro X2 Superstrike model.
The G Pro X3 Superstrike weighs 59 grams, or 61 grams in the EMEA region, and measures 125 x 63.5 x 40 mm. It supports an 8000 Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes, the latter utilizing the Lightspeed dongle.
Available in black and purple, the mouse is scheduled for release on October 6. The retail price is set at $179.99 or €179.99.
