Li Auto has officially released the OTA 9.1.1 software update for several of its vehicle models. The rollout began on September 10 and is expected to be completed in batches within one week. The update covers the Li L9 Livis, Li L8 Livis, Li L9 Ultra, Li L8 Ultra, and the new generation Li L6 Ultra.

The update introduces a new immersive cockpit feature that allows users to control virtual vehicles using the car's steering wheel and brake pedal. The system includes two modes: a cockpit mode for in-car screen interaction and an external link mode that connects the car to a PC to act as a simulator for Forza Horizon 5 and 6.

Several system optimizations were also implemented. These include full-frame display support for wireless phone screen mirroring on the front screen while parked and improved bird's-eye view stitching for parking photos. Additionally, the system now provides a speed limit notification when the vehicle enters ready state with the suspension set to maximum height.

The update also includes a renaming of the 'Tantu' mode to 'Off-road Tantu'. This feature is designed to stabilize the vehicle body by suppressing swaying caused by uneven road surfaces during off-road driving. Users can manage the update process through the Li Auto mobile application once they receive the system notification.
