Li Auto CEO Li Xiang announced that the Li Auto i6 model will make its European debut at the Paris Motor Show. The presentation is scheduled for 19:30 local time.
The company's history with Europe dates back to 2015, when it was founded under the name Chehejia. Its first product, the SEV, was designed to meet the European L6e standards, with initial plans for shared mobility services in Paris and San Francisco.
Li Auto established its first overseas research and development center in Munich in January 2023. In July 2024, the company launched the L9 model in the Central Asian market.
The i6 model is designed to address specific European driving conditions, such as narrow city streets and the need for compact parking, while maintaining interior comfort and smart features. The company aims to compete in the global market by leveraging its experience from the highly competitive Chinese electric vehicle sector.
