LG Energy Solution has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding with the Massachusetts-based commercial EV startup indiGOtech. The partnership aims to explore the supply of 46-series NCM cylindrical battery cells for the startup's upcoming vehicle lineup.

The companies are working toward a definitive agreement covering the period from 2027 to 2030. The supply deal targets the Flow Ride model, designed for ride-hailing, and the Flow Cargo, a Class 1 cargo van. Both vehicles are currently listed with LFP battery options ranging from 80 to 100 kWh.

Beyond supply, the collaboration includes joint efforts in vehicle-battery integration and performance verification. The partners intend to focus on extending driving range and reducing charging times for commercial applications. indiGOtech currently develops platforms for the North American market.

LG Energy Solution noted that its cylindrical battery shipments grew 1.5 times year-on-year as of the second quarter of 2026. This growth is attributed to the mass production and expanded delivery of its 46-series cells, which the company now aims to integrate into the US commercial sector.
