LG Display has launched a 24.5-inch OLED panel featuring a 720Hz refresh rate and a 0.02ms response time. The company has already commenced mass production of these units, which are designed specifically for professional esports applications and high-speed gaming scenarios.

To achieve these performance metrics, LG Display developed proprietary driving algorithms and optimized the panel structure and control logic. The display operates at a 1920x1080 Full HD resolution, utilizing pixel-level self-illumination to eliminate the need for traditional backlight modules.

The new panel is integrated into the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace gaming monitor. This specific model has been selected as the official display for the 2026 PGL CS2 Major Singapore, a major international Counter-Strike 2 tournament.

LG Display maintains a broad OLED product lineup ranging from 20 to 40 inches, with some models incorporating Dynamic Frequency and Resolution technology. The company intends to integrate AI into its R&D processes to accelerate the development of future display products.
