LG Display has officially unveiled the industry's first 24.5-inch FHD Tandem WOLED panel, designed specifically for the esports market. The new display technology features a refresh rate of 720Hz, which is a significant upgrade from the 540Hz model the company introduced in June of this year.
The panel offers a response time of 0.02ms, representing a one-third reduction compared to standard OLED panels currently on the market. LG Display noted that the 24.5-inch size is tailored for professional gamers, particularly those competing in FPS titles like CS2, who prefer smaller screen formats for faster information processing.
The new panel has already made its debut in the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace monitor, which was showcased at the gamescom 2026 event in Cologne. This release marks a continued expansion of LG Display's high-refresh-rate product lineup for competitive gaming hardware.
