LG has launched an early Black Friday promotion for its C6 OLED TV series and soundbars, which runs through November 1st. The 55-inch model is currently priced at $999.99, reflecting a discount of $400. This offer is available at Amazon, Best Buy, and directly through LG.
The 65-inch version of the C6 is also discounted by $300, bringing its price to $1,399.99. Customers purchasing directly from the LG website receive additional incentives, including a complimentary wall mount and an Xbox Wireless Controller.
Technically, the C6 features the Alpha 11 AI Gen3 processor and supports a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The device includes four HDMI 2.1 ports, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility. It also supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and the Matter smart home standard.
Regarding data privacy, researchers recently questioned LG's data collection practices on its smart TVs. LG stated that voice recognition and interest-based advertising are optional features disabled by default, and clarified that the devices do not continuously record user conversations.
