Lexus has unveiled the 2027 model year RX, maintaining its existing exterior design while introducing several functional updates. The vehicle now features a new metallic white exterior color option and the availability of red brake calipers for customers.
The standard equipment list has been expanded to include a digital rearview mirror and an integrated dashcam. These additions aim to enhance the convenience and safety features provided as part of the base vehicle configuration.
Engineering efforts focused on the chassis, with recalibrated settings for the AVS adaptive suspension, EPS electric power steering, and the DRS rear-wheel steering system. These adjustments are intended to improve handling precision and ride comfort.
The powertrain lineup remains unchanged for the 2027 model. Depending on the market, the RX is available with a 2.4-liter turbo engine, a 2.5-liter self-charging hybrid, a 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid, and a 2.4-liter turbocharged hybrid system.
The model range continues to include the RX 350, RX 350h, RX 450h+, and the top-tier RX 500h. Depending on the specific version chosen, the crossover is offered with either a front-wheel-drive or an all-wheel-drive configuration.
