Lexus has updated its flagship LX SUV for the Japanese market, introducing the F Sport trim for the first time. This performance-oriented version is available for both the gasoline LX 600 and the hybrid LX 700h models, joining the existing standard, Overtrail+, and Executive configurations.
The F Sport variant features a distinct exterior with a revised grille, new bumpers, and 22-inch black forged wheels paired with red brake calipers. Inside, the cabin includes sport seats, aluminum Hadori trim, and perforated leather accents. The vehicle also benefits from tuned shock absorbers, an adaptive variable suspension, and a Torsen limited-slip differential on the rear axle.
Technical specifications for the powertrains remain unchanged. The LX 600 utilizes a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 415 hp and 650 Nm of torque. The hybrid LX 700h combines this V6 with an electric motor to deliver a total output of 463 hp and 790 Nm. Both models feature a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Pricing for the updated lineup in Japan starts at ¥15.6 million for the base LX 600. The LX 600 F Sport begins at ¥17 million, while the hybrid LX 700h F Sport starts at ¥18 million. The top-tier four-seat LX 700h Executive is priced at ¥22.1 million. Other trims in the range have also received chassis and suspension refinements to improve handling and comfort.
