Levoit has introduced the Vital Pet Pro, an air purifier specifically engineered for households with pets. The device is priced at $189.99 and is available through the company's website, Amazon, and Chewy.
The unit features a three-stage filtration system including a washable pre-filter for hair, a main filter for dander, and an activated carbon filter containing 140 grams of carbon to neutralize odors. Levoit claims the device can remove up to 70% of odors within one hour.
The design incorporates a U-shaped air inlet to capture airborne particles and prevent filter clogging. An automatic cleaning mechanism removes accumulated debris from the pre-filter into a removable tray, reducing the need for manual maintenance.
The purifier integrates with a companion app offering specialized modes. Pet Mode alternates between high-speed operation for 15 minutes and low-speed operation for 60 minutes. Auto Plus Mode adjusts performance based on real-time air quality monitoring.
Air quality is indicated by a color-coded system: red for bad, orange for moderate, green for good, and cyan for very good. The device also includes a Sleep Mode for quieter operation during the night.
