Ledger is currently investigating reports of cryptocurrency losses connected to devices sold by the Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis. The company has requested that the reseller suspend all sales and shipments of its hardware wallets as a precautionary measure while the inquiry proceeds.

Customers who purchased Ledger devices from CryptoBilis within the last 90 days are advised against setting them up. Those who have already initialized their devices are encouraged to transfer their assets to a new wallet with a fresh recovery phrase. CryptoBilis is an authorized reseller in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Ledger stated that its internal infrastructure and services remain secure and unaffected. The company has not disclosed the number of impacted users or the total value of the losses, noting that the issue appears isolated to this specific reseller. No reports have emerged regarding devices bought directly from Ledger.

Independent researchers have identified suspected thefts across multiple blockchains, with estimates ranging from $72 million to $86 million. The Security Alliance (SEAL) has urged users whose funds were moved to the identified addresses to contact its incident-response team, though Ledger has not confirmed these figures.
