Lectric eBikes has introduced the XPress Lite, a new urban electric bicycle designed as a lighter and more affordable alternative to the XPress2 model. The bike is priced at $1,099 and is aimed at city commuters who prioritize portability and ease of handling.

The XPress Lite weighs 20.7 kg without the battery. It is powered by a 500W nominal rear hub motor that reaches a peak of 864W and 61 Nm of torque. The drivetrain features an eight-speed Shimano Altus system paired with an in-house torque sensor.

A key feature is the XPerience Switch system, which allows riders to toggle between torque-sensor and cadence-sensor operation. The bike supports Class 1, 2, or 3 configurations and includes five pedal-assist levels along with a thumb throttle.

The model is equipped with a 375 Wh battery, providing an estimated range of up to 72 km. Other features include hydraulic disc brakes, 27.5-inch puncture-resistant tires, a 3.5-inch color TFT display, and integrated lighting with turn signals.

The bike is available in four colors and features a mid-step frame design. Both the bicycle and its battery hold UL certifications. Lectric offers a wide range of accessories, including racks, fenders, and suspension seatposts.
