LayerZero Labs has obtained SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 accreditations for its entire infrastructure. The certification was verified through independent auditing based on AICPA Trust Services Criteria, confirming the effectiveness of internal controls for data security, availability, and confidentiality.

The Type 1 accreditation confirms the design of controls at a specific point in time, while Type 2 proves their operational effectiveness over a period of three to twelve months. This dual certification demonstrates that the protocol's security systems are consistently functional.

The protocol currently connects more than 160 blockchains, facilitating the transfer of tokenized assets, stablecoins, and arbitrary data. LayerZero has established partnerships with Google Cloud, ARK Invest, ICE, DTCC, and Citadel Securities.

The company plans to launch the Zero blockchain in February 2026. This network is being developed for high-throughput institutional use cases, allowing enterprises to use cross-chain capabilities with necessary compliance guarantees.

The accreditation was tracked and noted on the CertiK Skynet security monitoring platform. The project's native token is ZRO.
