Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison has adopted a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan to sell up to 50 million shares of the company. The plan, established on June 22, 2026, allows for sales to occur through October 24, 2026.

At the time of filing, the shares were valued at approximately $175 each, totaling $8,75 billion. Following a decline in Oracle's stock price to around $150, the potential proceeds have decreased to approximately $7,5 billion.

Ellison has historically avoided large-scale stock sales, previously limiting single transactions to 25,000 shares. Even if the full 50 million shares are sold, he will retain about 1,1 billion shares, maintaining an ownership stake exceeding 40%.

The trading plan disclosure coincides with Oracle reporting $700 million in additional restructuring and severance costs. These expenses are linked to the company's strategic shift toward AI infrastructure and associated workforce reductions.
