Laowa has officially introduced its new AF 35mm F2.8 1X APO macro lens. The product is available for pre-order at a promotional price of ¥2688, down from the original retail price of ¥2980.
The autofocus version of the lens is compatible with EF, E, Z, and X mounts. Additionally, the company offers a manual focus variant that supports RF and L mounts. The lens features an optical structure consisting of 13 elements in 10 groups.
The device provides a maximum magnification ratio of 1:1 and utilizes an APO apochromatic design. The AF model features a 72mm filter thread, while the manual version uses a 67mm filter. Both versions are equipped with a customizable function button.
The AF model supports full-range autofocus from 50cm to infinity. For macro shooting at distances between 18cm and 50cm, the lens includes an M/A semi-automatic focus feature, allowing users to manually adjust the focus before the camera locks onto the subject.
