Lantu Automobile Chairman Lu Fang recently commented on the company's partnership with Huawei. He described the collaboration as a synergy between Dongfeng's vehicle manufacturing capabilities and Huawei's software expertise. Lantu maintains a model where both companies work together while remaining independent to ensure sustainable growth.
Lu Fang stated that Huawei remains the top provider for intelligent driving assistance technology. According to the company, Lantu currently ranks second in sales among all automotive brands that integrate Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving system and HarmonyOS cockpit solutions.
Previously, in August, Lantu Automobile CBO and Sales General Manager Shao Mingfeng also highlighted Huawei's technical leadership. He noted that the Qiankun system demonstrates the ability to operate without human intervention in complex road conditions, making it a key component for the brand.
