The hybrid version of the Lada Azimut crossover features a powertrain consisting of an internal combustion engine and two electric motors, one on each axle. This configuration provides a total output of approximately 500 horsepower, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. The hybrid model offers a total range exceeding 1000 km and is the only version of the Azimut to feature all-wheel drive.
Visually, the hybrid variant is distinguished from the standard model primarily by a PHEV 4WD badge on the tailgate. The vehicle has already been tested by Anton Alikhanov, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Currently, pre-production units are undergoing testing, and AvtoVAZ has not yet confirmed whether this high-performance version will be released for the Russian market, as the company is still evaluating its prospects.
Serial production of the standard Lada Azimut began on September 25, 2026. The company expects the crossovers to reach dealerships by the end of 2026. Pricing details for the model have not yet been disclosed and will be announced closer to the start of sales.
