The KyTy emulator, designed for PlayStation 5, has demonstrated significant performance improvements. According to reports from DSOGaming, the frame rate for Demon's Souls: Remake has increased tenfold, reaching between 10 and 18 frames per second. Previously, the title could only run at a rate of 1 to 2 frames per second.
The emulator has also shown progress with other titles, including Astro's Playroom, which now runs at approximately 11 frames per second. Currently, the KyTy software is capable of launching popular games such as GTA 5, Demon's Souls: Remake, and Astro's Playroom, though the actual gameplay experience remains limited.
Developers estimate that by the end of this year, these titles could reach a playable performance level of 30 frames per second. If this goal is met, the emulator may become widely accessible for PC users in the near future.
