The Kontur.Extern service has introduced a feature to automate the creation of electronic transport waybills (ETrN). Users can now transfer data directly from universal transfer documents or standard waybills into an ETrN draft, eliminating the need for manual data entry.

The system integrates with the Diadoc platform, allowing users to transfer drafts automatically without manual uploads. Users can track the status and reference numbers of their documents directly within the Extern interface, where the entire history of the workflow is stored.

Electronic transport waybills became mandatory in Russia on September 1, 2026. Authorities have established a transition period until March 1, 2027, during which inspectors will issue verbal warnings instead of penalties for using paper documents.

The new functionality is included in existing Kontur.Extern tariffs and modifiers. According to company experts, this automation is designed to reduce routine tasks for accountants and minimize the risk of errors in shipment details, nomenclature, and cargo weight.
