The Russian cybersecurity firm Kod Bezopasnosti has launched Secret Net EDR version 1.3. This endpoint detection and response system is designed to monitor workstations and servers, providing threat detection and incident response capabilities.
The new version introduces a device trust rating mechanism. Based on signature analysis, YARA scanning, and rootkit detection, the system assigns one of three statuses to each device: Trusted, Acceptable, or Untrusted. Security teams can use these ratings to manage access to corporate resources.
Secret Net EDR 1.3 integrates with the Continent ZTN Client for remote access. When a user attempts to connect to the corporate network, the access server can trigger a comprehensive device check via the EDR agent to decide whether to grant or block access.
The company plans to further develop the product by adding a local correlator and advanced investigation features. The next iteration, version 1.4, is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2027 and is expected to receive FSTEC certification.
