Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU) has completed a pilot program for the Dion corporate communications platform, developed by the T1 IT holding. The university transitioned its operations to this system, replacing Microsoft Teams. Currently, the platform is utilized by university staff for internal chats, video conferencing, and calendar management.

Following the initial three-week trial, the university reported a 30% improvement in call quality and stability. The institution prioritized signal reliability, ease of use, and the capacity to host large numbers of participants simultaneously when selecting the new software solution.

The university plans to expand the user base to 3,000 people by 2027, facilitating communication between departments located in different buildings and cities. Further expansion will eventually include the entire student body, totaling 20,000 users, as the platform integrates into the broader educational process.

In the first quarter of 2027, KNRTU intends to integrate the webinar mode with the university's electronic scheduling system. This update aims to simplify the launch of online educational events for both faculty and students, leveraging the cloud-based infrastructure of the Dion platform.
