KiiChain has established partnerships with Financiera Juriscoop and Banco Agrario de Colombia, a state-owned bank, to integrate its 24/7 foreign exchange and settlement infrastructure. The collaboration with Juriscoop, a regulated institution with over 40 years of market experience, aims to bring Colombian peso liquidity to the network. The parties are targeting a daily transaction volume of up to $10 million as the integration scales.
The company also serves as an infrastructure provider for a joint project between Banco Agrario and Merke Plaza. While Banco Agrario manages banking relationships, fund custody, and compliance, Merke Plaza digitizes traditional market halls. KiiChain provides the settlement, transaction data, and cross-border FX infrastructure for banking, microcredit, and remittance services provided to vendors.
KiiChain's strategy focuses on integrating with existing institutions rather than replacing them, allowing banks to maintain their current compliance and treasury operations. This approach provides a path for potential future integrations with other major banks such as Bancolombia, Davivienda, Banco Pichincha, and Coopcentral.
The technical core of the network is the Atomic Quote Network (AQN), which uses cryptographically signed, time-bound quotes to fix rates and execution conditions. Additionally, the company integrated with the TRON network in August to connect its FX rails to a stablecoin settlement network.
KiiChain currently reports more than $500 million in processed volume, 200 enterprise clients, and 360,000 registered users. The company is now focusing on scaling its infrastructure across more financial institutions and local currencies in Latin America and other emerging markets.
