The KICK Korea Semiconductor Index ETF, trading under the ticker KCHP, has launched on the NYSE Arca. The fund provides US investors with direct access to 20 semiconductor companies listed on the Korea Exchange.

The portfolio includes firms across the entire chip value chain, such as memory, foundry, equipment, materials, packaging, and design businesses. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are the primary holdings in the index.

The ETF utilizes a modified market-capitalization-weighted index, which caps exposure to individual stocks to distribute risk. The fund has a net expense ratio of 0.65%.

KCHP does not hedge its currency exposure, meaning investors are directly exposed to the won-dollar exchange rate. The fund is the first product in the KICK ETFs series.
