Kia unveiled the production version of the electric PV7 van at the IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover. The vehicle is built on an 800V architecture and features a front-mounted electric motor with 268 hp and 420 Nm of torque. Customers can choose between 71.5 kWh and 96.2 kWh battery options, with the latter providing a range of over 460 km.

The van supports fast charging, allowing a 10-80% charge in approximately 25 minutes using a 350 kW charger. It is the first Kia model to feature dual charging ports. The interior includes a 9.9-inch instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch touchscreen with the Pleos Connect system, and the Gleo AI voice assistant.

The standard PV7 is 5,350 mm long with a 3,500 mm wheelbase. The lineup will eventually expand to 23 variants, including Cargo and Passenger versions with up to 11 seats. Cargo capacity reaches 8 cubic meters in the High Roof model, while the maximum payload is 1,200 kg.

Sales of the PV7 are scheduled to begin in Korea and Europe in the second half of 2027. Following the PV7, Kia plans to launch the larger PV9 model in 2029 to further expand its light commercial vehicle range.
