Kia debuted the PV7 electric van at the IAA Transportation 2026 event in Hanover. This model, built on the E-GMP.S platform, serves as the second vehicle in the company's Platform Beyond Vehicle lineup. The manufacturer intends to release 23 distinct variants of the van over the coming years, catering to both commercial and personal transport needs.
The vehicle measures 5,350 mm in length and features an 800V architecture, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 25 minutes via a 350 kW DC charger. Customers can select between 71.5 kWh and 96.2 kWh NCM battery packs. The Long Range Cargo version provides an estimated range exceeding 460 km based on the WLTP cycle.
The interior includes the Pleos Connect infotainment system with 12.9-inch and 14.6-inch displays, powered by Android Automotive OS and the Gleo AI assistant. Cargo configurations offer up to 8 cubic meters of space and a maximum payload capacity of 1,200 kg. The passenger version accommodates up to nine people globally, with an 11-seat option for the Korean market.
Kia plans to initiate the rollout of the PV7 Passenger and Cargo models in Korea and Europe during the second half of 2027. The lineup will eventually expand to include chassis cab options and various conversion models. Pricing details for the PV7 will be disclosed closer to the official market launch date.
