Kia has unveiled the PV7, a large electric commercial vehicle built on the E-GMP.S architecture. The van measures 5,350 mm in length and features a 3,500 mm wheelbase. It is designed for diverse logistics and passenger transport needs, with plans for 23 different variants, including cargo, passenger, and chassis cab configurations.
The vehicle offers two battery options: 71.5 kWh and 96.2 kWh. The long-range version provides a WLTP-rated range of up to 460 km. The 800-volt system supports fast charging, allowing a 10 to 80 percent charge in approximately 20 minutes using a 350-kW charger. The PV7 also features dual charging ports for increased operational flexibility.
Cargo capacity reaches up to 8.0 cubic meters in the high-roof version, with a maximum payload of 1,200 kg. Passenger models can accommodate between 7 and 11 occupants depending on the market and seating configuration. The van includes Vehicle-to-Load functionality and runs on the Android Automotive-based Pleos Connect infotainment system.
The first models are scheduled to reach markets in Korea and Europe during the second half of 2027. The lineup will eventually expand to include compact and long versions, as well as specialized conversion models to support various commercial applications.
