The Kia EV3, which starts at $29 890, has begun arriving at dealerships across the United States. While many retailers sell the vehicle at MSRP or offer discounts, some locations are applying significant markups and mandatory add-ons to the final price.
At Car Pros Kia Glendale in California, an EV3 GT listed at $47 385 received a market adjustment of $4 995. Additional charges for accessories like Lojack, wheel locks, and a roadside kit, alongside administrative fees, brought the total price to $55 145.
Other dealerships are also bundling vehicles with extra equipment. Hendrick Kia of Concord added $997 in options, while Sunset Kia of Sarasota applied a $995 value package. These practices increase the cost of the electric vehicle significantly above the manufacturer's suggested retail price.
Conversely, some dealers provide incentives for buyers. Ourisman Kia in Maryland offers a $1 834 discount plus $1 500 in manufacturer cash. Similarly, Courtesy Kia of Brandon in Florida provides a discount of $2 098, helping to offset standard processing and delivery fees.
