KB Panorama has released version 7.6.0 of its GIS WebServer SE, designed for Astra Linux, Alt SP, RED OS, Ubuntu, and MS Windows. The update focuses on enhancing spatial data processing and geoportal administration tools.
The new version introduces support for MVT (Mapbox Vector Tiles), allowing users to publish layers via Style URL or layer addresses. The system now adjusts display density based on screen characteristics and utilizes Style JSON for legend rendering.
Administrative capabilities have been expanded with a unified 'Data Sources' category and configurable 'Attribute Table' settings. Administrators can now define granular access rights for user groups, restricting specific layers, folders, and tools to improve security.
The software includes improvements to map composition and data visualization, such as bulk legend toggling and refined GeoJSON rendering. The system is built using the GIS WebToolKit SE, which supports JavaScript and TypeScript development.
GIS WebServer SE is utilized for secure corporate systems and public projects, including the Regional GIS of the Ryazan Region. This portal provides data to government agencies, businesses, and citizens to support regional socio-economic decision-making.
