In 2026, Russian universities produced the first cohort of IT specialists trained in constructive information security. This educational initiative is a joint effort between Kaspersky and academic institutions to integrate cybersecurity principles directly into the software development lifecycle.

Currently, over 2,500 students across all eight federal districts of Russia are enrolled in programs that include cyber-immune development. This group includes approximately 1,500 first-year students, covering both top-tier IT and artificial intelligence curricula.

The training programs are active in 25 universities nationwide. The first graduates of these courses come from institutions including Petrozavodsk State University, Ural State Mining University, Southern Federal University, Chuvash State University, Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University, and the Russian University of Transport.

Kaspersky plans to continue expanding these educational efforts. The goal is to establish constructive security as a core professional competency for all future IT specialists and engineers, ensuring that digital products are inherently protected from the design phase.
