The Kalashnikov concern has unveiled the Zveroboy air defense system, designed to neutralize reconnaissance and strike drones. The system utilizes Kraken high-speed FPV interceptors, which are multi-rotor drones equipped with specialized warheads. Each launcher container holds three such interceptors.

Zveroboy is engineered for round-the-clock protection of critical infrastructure. It is capable of detecting and engaging various UAV models, including the Leleka, Lyutyi, Bober, and Hornet-XR. The system operates effectively at night using the Kraken-N modification, which features a thermal imaging camera.

The complex includes a ground control station, optical targeting systems, a digital repeater, and a radar unit. It is available in two configurations: a stationary setup and a mobile version mounted on a standard pickup truck chassis to facilitate rapid deployment and concealment.

The system can be integrated with existing perimeter security and surveillance infrastructure. According to CEO Alan Lushnikov, Zveroboy is part of a layered defense strategy, combining detection, suppression, and physical destruction of drones at various ranges.

Kalashnikov is a major Russian manufacturer of automatic weapons, sniper rifles, and guided artillery shells. The company is 51% owned by the Rostec state corporation, with the remaining 49% held by private investors. Its products are exported to over 27 countries.
