Kaiko, a provider of digital asset market data and infrastructure, has secured $110 million in a strategic funding round. The investment was led by S&P Global, with participation from major financial institutions including BNP Paribas, Nasdaq Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, and the Royal Bank of Canada.

Existing investors, such as Anthemis, Point Nine, and Revaia, also contributed to the round. The company plans to use the capital to support the development of data systems for tokenized finance, enabling traditional assets like Treasury bills and bonds to operate on blockchain infrastructure.

Alongside the funding, Kaiko is launching a Strategic Industry Working Group to facilitate collaboration with participating institutions on the infrastructure required for tokenized financial products. The company aims to provide continuous data delivery and analytics for markets that operate 24/7.

Founded in 2014 and currently based in New York, Kaiko provides data covering over 150 exchanges and protocols. The firm has recently expanded its capabilities through the acquisitions of DeFi infrastructure provider Cometh and digital asset data company Amberdata.

Kaiko maintains regulatory credentials including authorization under the European Union’s Benchmark Regulation and MiCA compliance for its subsidiary Cometh. The company also holds SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 attestations to support its institutional-grade service offerings.
