K2Tech has launched an online tool for assessing IT management maturity, based on a methodology derived from over 500 consulting projects. The assessment is designed for IT executives to identify development priorities and evaluate their current IT governance frameworks.
The test takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and covers eight key areas, including IT strategy, corporate architecture, investment management, personnel, service quality, and IT risks. Participants receive an overall maturity score along with specific metrics for each category.
According to K2Tech, the tool helps bridge the communication gap between IT departments and business leadership. By quantifying IT performance, executives can better justify budgets, align technical initiatives with business goals, and avoid resource fragmentation.
Sergey Verchenov, head of technology consulting at K2Tech, noted that the assessment helps identify operational gaps before they lead to unnecessary costs or risks. The results serve as a foundation for planning deeper audits and prioritizing future digital transformations.
