Jumper, a platform for onchain asset trading and movement, announced its separation from LI.FI to operate as an independent company. The firm currently holds a market share of over 15% in bridging volume and has processed more than $40 billion in total volume to date.
The application serves over 100,000 monthly active users. Following its spin-off, Jumper plans to expand its functionality to become a super-app for onchain finance, offering services such as perpetual futures trading, tokenized stocks, and yield opportunities.
The company will launch a sale of its JUMP token through the Legion platform. This marks the first time Jumper has raised capital. The funds will be allocated toward product development, user acquisition, and distribution efforts across its ecosystem.
Jumper has decided against conducting a separate equity financing round. According to CEO Marko Jurina, the JUMP token is intended to be the sole instrument for stakeholders, including users, contributors, and investors, to hold ownership in the business.
