JLR has unveiled the 2027 Range Rover Sport Electric, an SUV featuring a dual-motor powertrain that delivers 543 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 96 km/h in 4.3 seconds. It is equipped with a 118.5-kWh lithium-ion battery and an 800-volt architecture, providing a range of up to 609 kilometers on the WLTP cycle.

The electric SUV supports fast charging, allowing for 220 km of range in 10 minutes, or a 10-to-80-percent charge in approximately 22 minutes. The model features a body that is 61 percent stiffer than the plug-in hybrid version, with a center of gravity lowered by 73 mm. It retains off-road capabilities, including a 900 mm wading depth and the ability to climb 45-degree inclines.

Production of the Range Rover Sport Electric will take place at the JLR plant in Solihull, UK, on the same assembly lines as the combustion and plug-in hybrid models. The vehicle includes a bespoke sound system designed to enhance the driving experience across different modes, maintaining the brand's focus on luxury and off-road performance.
