Jito launched its BAM preconfirmations service on September 9, 2026, providing a new revenue stream for Solana validators. The system enables validators to stream committed transaction data to traders and applications that require low-latency execution.

At launch, the service covers over 34% of the total Solana network stake. This adoption was supported by partnerships with infrastructure providers Helius and Triton. Participating validators must run AgaveBAM or FireBAM clients to stream data.

Revenue generated by the service follows a three-way split: 30% goes to distribution partners like Helius and Triton, 35% is allocated to BAM validators based on their stake weight, and 35% is directed to the Jito DAO treasury.

The system utilizes Trusted Execution Environments to process transaction sequencing in isolation. Jito intends for this architecture to reduce harmful MEV extraction. Participating validators are expected to begin generating actual revenue in October 2026.
