Jeep has unveiled the 2027 Wrangler JL-2A, the eleventh release in its Twelve 4 Twelve series. The package serves as a tribute to the 1945 Willys CJ-2A civilian model. Orders for the new trim are scheduled to open in October.
The JL-2A package is priced at $4 995, representing a premium of $115 over a standard Wrangler Rubicon. The vehicle retains the existing Rubicon platform, including the Rock-Trac HD 4x4 system, electronic locking differentials, and a sway-bar disconnect.
The model is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, delivering 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Unlike some other Wrangler variants, the JL-2A is available exclusively with a gasoline powertrain.
Exterior features include 17-inch retro-styled wheels, 33-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires, and specific color options such as Gobi and 41. The interior introduces Nappa Heritage Tan leather upholstery and Bison Brown door panels.
Standard equipment includes the Convenience Group, which features remote start, an auto-dimming mirror, and a universal garage door opener. The vehicle also comes with a front-facing TrailCam equipped with an integrated washer.
