Jeep has initiated a recall of 201,976 vehicles in the United States due to a software defect in the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The glitch prevents the system from detecting low tire pressure and failing to activate the warning light for drivers.

The recall affects several models, including 113,647 units of the 2024–2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 57,456 units of the 2024–2026 Grand Cherokee L. Additionally, it covers 16,456 units of the 2024–2025 Wagoneer, 3,046 units of the Grand Wagoneer, and 526 units of the Grand Cherokee PHEV.

Jeep plans to begin notifying affected owners on September 29, 2026. Dealerships will perform a free software update to resolve the TPMS issue for all vehicles included in the recall campaign.
