JBL has introduced a new Tourmaline Red special edition for its Clips open-ear headphones. The device is priced at ¥1346, though regional subsidies can reduce the cost to as low as ¥949.
The headphones feature a semi-transparent design for both the earbuds and the charging case. They are equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers featuring titanium-coated dual-layer diaphragms. The SonicArc directional sound technology is integrated to minimize leakage and protect user privacy.
The hardware is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance. Each earbud weighs 6.5g and utilizes a C-shaped bridge made of flexible TPU material to fit various ear shapes. The system includes four microphones and supports AI-powered noise cancellation along with ENC algorithms.
Users can manage microphone settings via a dedicated mobile application. The battery life is rated at 8 hours for the earbuds alone, extending to a total of 24 hours when used in conjunction with the included charging case.
