Developer RafaelNGP has released a mod called PSBox Cloud Gaming, which enables Xbox Cloud Gaming on jailbroken PlayStation 5 consoles. The software is available via GitHub and requires a Homebrew loader to mount the application.
The current version supports streaming at 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second. Users can upscale the stream to 4K using the PS5 GPU through AMD FSR 1 or Anime4K upscalers. Authentication is handled via a mobile device code.
The mod currently faces technical limitations, including video artifacts such as macroblocking and pink color issues. Some users also report problems with DualSense controller vibrations while using the application.
Following community requests, the developer added support for local Xbox Remote Play. This feature allows users to stream games from their existing Xbox consoles directly to the jailbroken PlayStation 5 hardware.
