Jaguar has officially unveiled the Type 01, a four-door electric grand tourer that serves as the production version of the Type 00 concept. The vehicle retains the prototype's low-slung silhouette and 23-inch wheels, while incorporating leather and brass interior finishes.

The car features a 24-inch OLED display behind the steering wheel and two 7-inch smartphone-style screens in the central spine for climate and media controls. A rear-facing camera feed is projected onto a display integrated into the panoramic soundbar, replacing a traditional rear window.

The powertrain consists of three electric motors delivering 1,016 horsepower and 1,365Nm of torque. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 3.2 seconds. It is equipped with a 118kWh battery offering a range of up to 400 miles, with 350kW DC charging capability.

Jaguar plans to open orders in early 2027, with deliveries scheduled for the second half of the year. While full pricing details remain undisclosed, the company has confirmed that one variant will be priced at $130,500.
