Jaguar has officially unveiled the Type 01, an all-electric four-door GT that marks the brand's first production model since its recent restart. The vehicle is built on the new Jaguar Electric Architecture (JEA) and features an 850 V system, distinguishing it from the 800 V architectures typically found in high-end electric cars.

The car is equipped with a 118 kWh battery and three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 758 kW and 1,365 Nm of torque. Jaguar estimates a range of up to 720 km. The charging system supports speeds of up to 350 kW, allowing for a range increase of approximately 320 km in 13 minutes of charging.

Measuring 5.24 metres in length, the Type 01 features a minimalist interior with a 24-inch instrument display and a 7-inch touch control console. The design replaces the traditional rear window with digital mirrors and utilizes flush-integrated sensors and cameras throughout the bodywork.

Production of the new model will take place in Solihull, UK. The vehicle will launch in Germany with a starting price of €165 000. Jaguar plans to open order books in early 2027, with customer deliveries of the luxury GT expected to begin in the second half of 2027.
