The system integrator iTProtect has completed a project for a Rosatom organization to enhance its cybersecurity monitoring capabilities. The initiative focused on optimizing the existing MaxPatrol SIEM platform from Positive Technologies, which was already deployed within the customer's infrastructure.

As part of the project, iTProtect configured the system to collect security events from hosts and network security tools, including VPN and NGFW. Additionally, the team implemented MaxPatrol VM, a next-generation vulnerability management system, to streamline the identification and prioritization of security flaws.

The integration between MaxPatrol VM and MaxPatrol SIEM allows the organization to maintain a continuous cycle of vulnerability management and incident response. This setup provides security teams with visibility into assets and helps them focus resources on addressing the most critical security risks.

According to Kirill Lukyanov, head of the design and implementation department at iTProtect, the project established a foundation for managing cybersecurity risks and countering complex threats, such as APT groups. The solution is designed to be flexible and adaptable to the specific risk profile of the company.
