ISPsystem, a subsidiary of Astra Group, has introduced a new App Store module for its BILLmanager platform. The tool enables service providers to offer SaaS and PaaS solutions as turnkey services, automating the entire lifecycle from order placement to software deployment.
The architecture integrates BILLmanager, which handles storefront operations and billing, with the VMmanager platform, which manages virtual server creation and resource allocation. Deployment scripts automate the installation of software such as CMS, databases, or messaging tools.
The module links the application lifecycle to the server lifecycle. When a user orders an application, the system creates both the software instance and the server. Deleting the application removes the server, while payment status changes automatically trigger server suspension or renewal.
Providers can configure applications by selecting operating systems, installation scripts, and resource requirements. Customers receive root access to their servers upon completion, allowing for further manual configuration if necessary.
