Isource and PKB ASU-Neft have announced a partnership to develop an integrated control solution for oil extraction wells. The project focuses on combining the Isource Virtual Controller PLC with the PKB ASU-Neft ADKU dispatch and automation system.
The collaboration aims to create an import-independent technology using industrial hardware and software listed in the Russian Ministry of Digital Development registry. The system will support x86-64 and ARM architectures, allowing customers to choose hardware independently.
The companies will conduct compatibility testing, pilot trials, and prepare implementation recommendations. The integration will utilize a specialized ST-algorithm to manage data exchange and business logic between the virtual controller and field devices.
The memorandum was signed in 2026 by Isource Development Director Valentin Mishin and PKB ASU-Neft Director Oleg Turkin. The partnership combines expertise in IT and industrial automation to facilitate the modernization of oilfield control systems.
