Isors and Metran Project have unveiled TAU, a hardware-software complex designed for industrial automation in the oil and gas sector. The system is built as a scalable distributed control system (DCS) and includes an integrated safety instrumented system (SIS) based on a 16-channel logic controller.
The TAU platform supports up to 100 controllers, 60 workstations, and 30,000 control signals. It is compatible with major industrial protocols, including Modbus, Fieldbus, Profibus, and OPC. The system allows for hot-swapping of I/O modules and provides redundancy for power modules, controllers, and data transmission lines.
The software is registered in the Russian Unified Register of Domestic Software under record number 32580, dated March 18, 2026. It holds TR TS 020 and TR EAEU 043/2017 certifications. The developers are currently pursuing TR TS 012 and RMRS certifications, with plans to join the Ministry of Industry and Trade registry by the end of 2026.
The companies intend to replace foreign control systems at critical information infrastructure facilities. The developers state that the transition to the domestic solution is designed to be time-efficient, ensuring stable operations for industrial enterprises while meeting national technological sovereignty requirements.
