Irteya, a Russian telecommunications equipment manufacturer, currently uses domestic components in its Single RAN base stations at a rate of no more than 5%. The company produces hardware supporting 2G, 4G, and 5G standards.
The company is developing a new platform, version 2.0, which incorporates components from over ten Russian suppliers. This engineering program involves testing and system integration to ensure the stability of the radio and computing architecture.
Irteya plans to begin intensive testing of the new platform in 2027. The goal is to launch production by early 2028, aiming to increase the share of domestic components in its base stations to 30%.
