The IQUNIX MQ80 is a 75-percent layout low-profile mechanical keyboard featuring a CNC-milled aluminum case. It measures 0.4 inches at the front and 1.08 inches at the rear. The device weighs 2.6 pounds and includes a hardshell carrying case.

The keyboard is equipped with Kailh Rose Red linear switches, which have a 40g actuation force, 2.8mm travel distance, and a 1.2mm actuation point. The switches are hot-swappable with Kailh Choc V2 alternatives. The keycaps are made of thick PBT plastic with dye-sublimated legends.

Connectivity options include 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and wired modes. The internal 4,000 mAh battery provides up to 350 hours of usage over Bluetooth with lighting disabled, or approximately 45 hours with RGB lighting active and 2.4GHz connection.

The internal structure utilizes a multi-layer assembly with PORON and IXPE foam, a PET film, and an FR4 plate. The PCB is mounted using a Le-Tray Gasket Mount system with silicone buffers. The keyboard supports the VIA web-based configurator for key remapping and macros.

Launched on Kickstarter in early 2025, the MQ80 offers a 1,000 Hz polling rate in wired and 2.4GHz modes. It is available in black or white color options.
