The upcoming iQOO Neo12 smartphone will feature a 2K 185Hz display, utilizing the new pTSF technology and Sky Mirror light-emitting materials. The device also integrates a specialized high-performance driver chip to support these display specifications, marking a significant update in gaming-focused screen hardware.
The display offers a peak full-screen brightness of 2200 nits and includes features such as XDR dynamic range enhancement, glare protection, and circular polarization 2.0. Additionally, the phone incorporates Q-flex control technology, previously seen in the iQOO 16, and a 1-nit sleep mode for reduced power consumption.
Gaming capabilities are supported by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a dedicated Q3 e-sports chip, which enables ray tracing and frame interpolation. The system allows for simultaneous 2K resolution and 185 FPS output, with native support for over 50 high-frame-rate titles.
The device is equipped with a 9000 mAh Blue Ocean battery, utilizing fifth-generation silicon anode technology. This single-cell design achieves an energy density of 916 Wh/L. The smartphone is scheduled for an official release later this month.
